Web Interface for a Database of Events
Hanzlík, Tomáš ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This work includes the design and implementation of a web application that serves as an interface between users and data aggregated from social networks. In the web interface, an emphasis is placed on displaying large amounts of data and browsing through filters. It consists of the JavaScript client part written in Vue.js and Nuxt.js and the server part of the Django REST framework that serves as a data source.
Generating Program Code from Ontology Definition
Svetlík, Tomáš ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the process of generating source code from ontology definition. It is advantageous to have ontologies in the source code representation, when developing ontological applications. This source code expresses ontology classes and properties. The main goal of this thesis is to develop an implementation of the tool that uses this process. The thesis describes the design, implementation and testing of this tool. The result is a fully functional source code generator. It is able to generate Java or Python source code. Functionality and reliability were evaluated according to testing with set of actually used ontologies.
Web Interface for RDF Storage Browsing
Tomov, Patrik ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a web interface for browsing the RDF storage, where the user will be able to manipulate its content. Within the storage, he will be able to create and delete repositories, add and delete repository content, view and interact with repository content, and also perform SPARQL queries within the repository. The client part of the application is written in Javascript using the Vue framework. The RDF4J server, which is deployed on the Apache Tomcat service, is used for the server part. Communication between the server and the client is secured using the RDF4J REST API. The resulting application allows to interactively and easily browse the content of the RDF storage.
RDF Data Visualization in Web Browsers
Škrobánek, Kristián ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on graph database data visualization, where data is stored in RDF format. Standard visualisation of RDF data in tables does not offer sufficiently usable user view. One of the goals of this work is to show RDF data in interactive graph, which is ideal form of viewing data considering lucidity and information value. The graph gives good view of not only the data itself but also relationships between the data. Another goal is to test ability of browsers to visualize large amounts of data.
Distributed Big Data Processing on the Java Platform
Tutko, Jakub ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the distributed Big Data processing on the Java platform, together with graph databases. It analyses several graph database distributions and the possibilities to connect them to the Apache Hadoop system for distributed data processing. For the purpose of testing database solutions effectiveness, the thesis outcome is an application, which is downloading data from social networks Twitter and Facebook. It is able to write and analyse data with two different database frameworks which are Halyard and HGraphDB.
